I like to sprinkle cinnamon into some of my juices, especially ones with peaches, carrots, and/or apples. These flavors all remind me of my home in the south, and the cinnamon just makes it that much more comforting (I wonder how it would taste warm? Hmmm...)
The cinnamon doesn’t just taste good, though, it adds many varied nutritional benefits, as well: it lowers cholesterol, helps to regulate blood sugar (needed when
juicing so many fruits!), it helps to prevent blood clots, and boosts cognitive functioning! Who knew, right?
1 cup fresh cherries (mixture of tart and ripe)
1/2 crisp yellow or white peach
2 large handfuls chopped collards (or 1 full leaf)
1 medium carrot
½ cucumber
