I love adding mint to my more sweet juices. It adds the nutritional benefits of mint (antimicrobial, antibacterial, vitamin K-rich, etc.), as well as gives a very refreshing minty aftertaste. I have found not everyone loves this aftertaste in the same way I do, however. That’s the beauty of juicing: add in whatever you want, leave out whatever you want! These recipes are just guidelines!

1 crunchy pear (anjou)
1 cup fresh tart cherries, pitted
2 large handfuls spinach
2 sprigs fresh mint (optional)
